  • The ArcelorMittal Orbit is the highest sculpture in the whole of the UK. It stands at an amazing 114m high. However, if it were fully vertical and not looped, it would measure a staggering 560m making it even higher than the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
  • The ArcelorMittal Orbit design was the winner of a competition to create an iconic structural centre-piece for the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
  • The majority of the funding came from a generous donation from the world famous steel company ArcelorMittal.
  • The estimated number of visitors per year is a whopping 800,000 people.
